Plans for Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H?, Jericho’s RAW Future

— One of the motivations for having Chris Jericho and Big Show lose their WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championships was to pave the way for a Chris Jericho vs. Edge feud going into WrestleMania. That program should begin soon, and WWE thus wanted Jericho to be unattached from the tag situation.

Interestingly, despite WWE’s claim that this week’s loss would mean a permanent banishment from RAW for Jericho, he has already begun, in character, teasing an interaction with guest host Mike Tyson next week.

— One Royal Rumble plan going around calls for Shawn Michaels and Triple H to be the final two performers. That may change once the pay-per-view arrives, but the idea certainly possesses intrigue. In addition to the obvious storyline issue of having two tag partners square off for the Royal Rumble victory, intrigue also lies in the fact that both could ultimately receive title shots at WrestleMania–current plans call for HBK vs. Undertaker and Triple H vs. Sheamus.
