— With TNA set to put its publicity machine behind the live Monday show on January 4, there is interest in how former WWE and TNA stars will align themselves as the “war” heats up in 2010.
In TNA’s case, the belief remains strong that Rob Van Dam is joining the promotion. While RVD has not shown a strong passion for joining TNA (or even for at least going head-to-head with WWE), the feeling is that he would do wrestling if he could make good money on a light schedule. TNA offers the best avenue for achieving that goal.
In WWE’s case, the talk is that it will not be bringing Booker T to the table. Discussions with the former WWE and TNA talent occurred soon after he left TNA, but such negotiations have reportedly died out.
