WWE RAW Rating Rises, New WWE Announcer Spoiler

— This week’s edition of WWE RAW rose to a 3.7 rating, off hours of 3.56 and 3.8. In addition to demonstrating a gain over last week’s number, the show also reversed the trend of losing audience from hour one to hour two.

Monday’s RAW averaged 5.59 million viewers and did the best numbers in adults and males 18-49 since the September 7 episode, according to PWTorch.com.

PWInsider.com notes that the show’s first hour did lose some of its “NCIS” re-run lead-in, although as the target demographics are far from similar, the data cannot really be used to condemn the WWE show’s performance.

— With Matt Striker moving to the SmackDown! announce team in Jim Ross’ absence, FCW’s Byron Sexton has been called up to join Josh Matthews in calling ECW.
