WWE RAW Gets Help Against NFL, Backstage Hell in a Cell News

— Various changes were made to WWE Hell in a Cell plans over the weekend. In addition to the earlier confirmation about WWE changing the finish for the John Morrison vs. Dolph Ziggler match, the booking order was also reportedly changed–there was, at one point, talk of putting Randy Orton vs. John Cena on as the main event. Further, most do not believe Undertaker vs. CM Punk was initially scheduled to open the show.

Based on how the order played out, it appears WWE tried to distance the three Hell in a Cell matches. As has been reported, creative–and the roster–has expressed some concern about having to book multiple, identical gimmick matches on the new specialty pay-per-views. (F4WOnline.com)

— It appears that NBC Sports’ loyalty belongs to the parent company, which is also responsible for RAW’s USA Network. Ben Roethlisberger’s confirmed appearance for Monday’s RAW, which goes against the anticipated Green Bay Packers vs. Minnesota Vikings game, received numerous mentions on the Sunday Night football broadcast; it notably came up in a pre-game interview with Roethlisberger himself.

— MSN’s RAW preview: “Guest host: Pittsburgh Steelers’ quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. Plus, Hell in a Cell PPV results.”
