Concern About The Undertaker’s WWE Future, Retirement?

There has been talk over the past few weeks that Undertaker’s active in-ring WWE career could be coming to a close.

A PWInsider report says that concern about The Undertaker’s physical condition emerged when the company was in Puerto Rico earlier this month. Taker was said to be in pain and noticeably slower, and it thus became a certainty that his Breaking Point match with CM Punk could not be a long bout (it ended up going less than ten minutes).

In investigating the issue, speculation has arisen that his post-WrestleMania hip surgery was not as minor as publicly portrayed. PWInsider calls the surgery “heavy duty” and serious enough that there was concern about whether he could actively wrestle again.

Nonetheless, he is back in the ring at press time. While speculation has begun that he might use WrestleMania 26 as a platform to retire from active wrestling, nothing is definitively in the cards–and as of right now, Undertaker is an active member of WWE’s roster.
