— A number within the industry are curious to see how WWE handles recently-acquired ROH talent Bryan Danielson and Nigel McGuinness. Both had previously been under the radar of WWE’s developmental system and ultimately failed to garner anything in the way of major opportunities. At the same time, both are very respected independent talent who many within the industry have been hoping could break out.
F4WOnline.com notes that, with regards to Nigel McGuinness, age might be a factor–at 33, the feeling is that if he does not quickly adapt to WWE’s in-ring and promo style, he might never get a legitimate shot. Regarding Danielson, though he is generally considered to have more potential upside, his highly-touted style is nonetheless far removed from what WWE expects from undercard talent in the three-to-five minute television matches. Danielson undoubtedly has some style modifications to make in terms of showing he can work his way up the WWE ladder.
— A PWInsider correspondent at the site of RAW reports that he saw a set piece resembling the “Price is Right” game. With Bob Barker as host, it appears WWE will weave some sort of “Price is Right” gimmick into tonight’s show.
