WWE Veteran Gives Details On Jeff Hardy’s Exit, Chris Jericho

Veteran WWE announcer weighed in on Jeff Hardy’s WWE hiatus Saturday, putting over the former World Champion’s recent performances as “amazing, awe inspiring and profoundly professional.”

Ross explained that Hardy is gone until further notice in order to take a “much needed sabbatical.” While Ross does “expect to see Jeff Hardy back in a WWE ring some day,” he noted that “Jeff may absorb himself in other projects,” including the much-talked about reality show.

In putting over Hardy, an industry veteran who developed into a megastar this past year, Ross could not ignore another longtime Superstar who is at the top of his game. In fact, according to Ross, Jericho’s currently strong performances demonstrate that Hardy could come back better than ever when he returns from hiatus.

“Chris Jericho has been a shining star since he returned from taking a year or so off to explore other projects of which he was interested. Jericho was always superb in whatever role he undertook but Chris has never been better, in my opinion, since returning from some time away from the wrestling business,” wrote Ross.
