WWE Considering More Gimmick PPVs

With September’s Breaking Point ushering in WWE’s era of specialty match pay-per-view events, the company is wasting no time developing follow-up events. Having already confirmed “Hell in a Cell” for later this fall, WWE announced more possibilities today.

In a survey issued to WWE fans, the company discussed more potential themes for upcoming pay-per-views. Those presented for fan feedback included an event with the main events adhering to street fight rules, an event with the main events being contested as TLC bouts and a show based around a “single elimination bracket style tournament where Superstars would compete in multiple matches during the night to become the tournament winner.”

None of the new pay-per-views have been confirmed, but given how a survey several months ago was a precursor to the Breaking Point event, it appears WWE is seriously considering the aforementioned ideas.
