WWE began its Breaking Point hype merely a day after Summerslam, announcing two matches for the pay-per-view on Monday’s RAW.
The RAW main event for the specialty pay-per-view, which will be contested under I-Quit rules, sees Randy Orton defending his WWE Championship against John Cena.
Meanwhile, Unified Tag Champions Big Show and Chris Jericho defend their belts against MVP and Mark Henry.
— WWE also confirmed that new World Champion CM Punk will face Jeff Hardy in a steel cage match on this week’s SmackDown. The match, advertised locally prior to this week, originally appeared slated for the post-show dark match position.
