Update on Major TNA Star’s Status For Victory Road

It is now conclusive that Kurt Angle’s reported groin injury was legitimate. The star suffered the injury on a movie set this week and missed TNA house show action, reportedly limping at Saturday’s event in North Carolina as he confirmed his inability to wrestle.

Despite the injury, Angle is still expected to wrestle at Sunday’s Victory Road pay-per-view. TNA’s Jeremy Borash confirmed Sunday morning, “The main event of the ppv tonight is not in jeopardy as is being reported. With Kurt now & he says he’s good to go,” adding, “He hurt his groin on the set of the movie Sat & didn’t wrestle last night to rest it. Felling much better today.”

TNA was still advertising Kurt Angle vs. Mick Foley for the Victory Road main-event, a match that all sources are indicating is a go for this evening.
