Kennedy Defends Reportedly Injured Batista

A vocal user of his Twitter Account, Mr. Kennedy did not hesitate to chime in on Batista’s recent injury.

“I know everyone’s saying stuff about Batista but I gotta say that he’s one of the best guys in the lockerroom. No ego, always trying to help elevate younger talent,” the wrestler, who was released two weeks ago by World Wrestling Entertainment, posted in an update this afternoon.

Batista’s reported injury, a biceps tear that requires surgery, has brought him a chorus of “injury prone” comments similar to those faced by Kennedy. Both have been sidelined from the ring numerous times, and it appears Kennedy relates to Batista’s situation.

Addressing the “injury prone” label has been a big part of Kennedy’s post-WWE focus; after filming a video to demonstrate the health of his supposedly injured wrists, he later tweeted, “If I take a samurai sword and cut your leg off, and you don’t tell anyone that I did it to you….are you “injury prone”? MYSTERIOUS…”
