Grammy Awards Betting Odds: “DAMN.”, “Despacito” Favored In Key Races

Odds have emerged for the 60th Annual Grammy Awards.

Only ten days remain until the 60th Annual Grammy Awards.

As anticipation builds for the ceremony, odds have emerged for this year’s key awards races.

Bookmakers have issued odds (and are offering action) on the “Big Four” awards: Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best New Artist.

In recent years, the odds have served as solid — but not perfect — indicators of the final outcomes.

The betting favorite lost in only one of the top four races in 2017 (Adele’s “25” beat Beyonce’s favored “Lemonade” for Album of the Year), 2016 (Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” beat Taylor Swift’s favored “Blank Space” for Song of the Year), 2015 (Beck’s “Morning Phase” beat Beyonce’s favored “Beyonce” for Album of the Year), 2014 (Daft Punk’s “Random Access Memories” beat Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ favored “The Heist” for Album of the Year), 2013 (Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used To Know” beat fun.’s favored “We Are Young” for Record of the Year) and 2012 (Bon Iver beat the favored Nicki Minaj for Best New Artist).

How will the oddsmakers fare this year? We will find out on January 28.

For now, let’s take a look at how they expect the night to unfold (based on active lines at Paddy Power).

Reading Betting Odds: Negative number = how much you have to bet to win $100 / Positive number = how much you win if you bet $100 | In other words, the lower the number, the better the odds.
