Beyond the Royal Rumble hashtag, Santino is, at press time, the only WWE-related Trending Topic in the United States.<\/p>\n
The Santino interest was fueled by the fact that, prior to his re-emergence in the final moments of the Rumble, the announcers conspicuously ignored his involvement in the match, calling the collective of Del Rio, Randy Orton, John Cena and Wade Barrett the “final four.”<\/p>\n
Fans pondered why Santino’s presence was being ignored, with some even questioning whether he would score the surprise victory in the 2011 event.<\/p>\n
