Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran received a myriad of new RIAA certifications in August.<\/p>\n
His album “Divide” officially reached multi-platinum status, while nine of his songs received new gold, platinum or multi-platinum honors.<\/p>\n
Issued on August 31, 2017, the “Divide” honor is of the 2x platinum variety. It confirms 2 million in US album units; each unit is equal to 1 album sale, 10 track sales or 1500 track streams.<\/p>\n
His new song certifications are as follows (note – song units are equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams):

\nPhotograph – 3x platinum (3 million)
\nLego House – 2x platinum (2 million)
