Freeform has officially ordered a second season of “Famous In Love.”<\/p>\n

The cast shared the good news in a Facebook Live Chat on Thursday. Freeform subsequently issued a formal announcement.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re so proud to be continuing our relationship with Marlene King and this incredibly talented cast,\u201d said Freeform’s Karey Burke. \u201c\u2018Famous in Love\u2019 has resonated with nearly 30 million fans across the U.S. and we couldn\u2019t be happier to deliver another season of this addictive series.\u201d<\/p>\n

Echoing its roll-out strategy for “Beyond,” Freeform made all first-season episodes of “Famous In Love” available for streaming following the premiere.<\/p>\n

The move seemingly had a detrimental impact on traditional TV viewership (“Famous In Love” posted weak live+same-day TV ratings) but helped “Famous In Love” connect with those who have grown accustomed to “binge watching” in the digital age.<\/p>\n
