Backed by an intriguing premise and the network that launched critical darlings “Mad Men” and “Breaking Bad,” AMC’s “Rubicon” definitely had a lot in its favor when it premiered this summer.<\/p>\n
Unfortunately, things never truly clicked for the series, and it recently received news of its cancellation.<\/p>\n
Though the show was popular in some critical circles, its acclaim was nowhere near that of the aforementioned dramas. More importantly, its viewership quickly diminished, particularly with the all-important young adult crowd, and it could just not become a staple of the cable network’s schedule.<\/p>\n
