Thursday was a big day in the world of “Sharknado.”<\/p>\n
Syfy confirmed the subtitle, tagline, premiere date and celebrity cameo list for the upcoming fifth installment.<\/p>\n
Entitled “Sharknado 5: Global Swarming,” the film will premiere at 8PM ET\/PT on August 6. Its promotional tagline, selected in a fan-sourced campaign, will be “Make America Bait Again!”<\/p>\n
Ian Ziering and Tara Reid return as stars, while Cassie Scerbo, Masiela Lusha and Cody Linley will reprise their roles from previous installments.<\/p>\n
Names confirmed for cameos include Tony Hawk, Clay Aiken, Bret Michaels, Porsha Williams, Cat Greenleaf, and Greg Louganis.<\/p>\n
