Walker\/Getty Images)\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p><script type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"http:\/\/view.picapp.com\/\/JavaScripts\/OTIjs.js\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Leading the charge was a Halloween-edition of &#8220;How I Met Your Mother,&#8221; which lifted to a 3.7 adults 18-49 Nielsen rating with 9.0 million viewers.  Lead-out &#8220;Rules of Engagement&#8221; shared some of the wealth, jumping to a 3.4 rating with 8.8 million watching.<\/p>\n<p>Even though the 9PM comedies had to oppose NBC&#8217;s &#8220;The Women of SNL&#8221; special rather than &#8220;The Event&#8221; (similar young adult-rating with a 2.0 and 5.2 million viewers for the hour, but the &#8220;SNL&#8221; special was clearly drawing more comedy fans), &#8220;Two and a Half Men,&#8221; certainly not hurt by buzz over the most recent Charlie Sheen incident, improved to a night&#8217;s best 4.7 rating with 13.6 million.  &#8220;Mike &#038; Molly&#8221; was even with a 3.6 and 10.9 million viewers.<\/p>\n<p>Though not a comedy, CBS&#8217; closer &#8220;Hawaii 5-0&#8221; managed gains as well, improving to a 3.0 rating with 10.6 million.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_monsterinsights_skip_tracking":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_active":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_note":"","_monsterinsights_sitenote_category":0},"categories":[3],"tags":[],"adace-sponsor":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.1 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>&quot;How I Met Your Mother&quot; Ratings Surge, &quot;Two and a Half Men&quot; Jumps<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Not every CBS comedy was Halloween-themed Monday, but that did not stop viewers from flocking to The Eye for humor.
