It will mark her first awards show performance in over 15 years.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to performing, Cher will receive the ICON Award at this year&#8217;s show.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I\u2019m honored to receive the 2017 Billboard Music Awards ICON Award and take the stage to celebrate my love of music with my fans,&#8221; said Cher. &#8220;Seeing so many powerful artists \u2013 especially female artists emerge and take their place in history through the years \u2013 has been incredible.
