There are a few new series that look to be on the chopping block, but FOX’s “Lone Star” officially has the distinction of being the first one axed.<\/p>\n
After posting a mere 1.0 final adults 18-49 rating for its second episode, a figure that would not even be impressive on The CW, FOX had no choice but to pull the critically-acclaimed drama. The plan is for episodes of “Lie to Me” to jump into the slot as early as next week.<\/p>\n
There was pretty much no chance “Lone Star” would survive after its tepid premiere figure, but FOX might have had to give the show another week or two had its ratings ticked upward for episode two. They did not, and the end is here for “Lone Star.”<\/p>\n
