Sunday’s “The Walking Dead” turned away some of the previous week’s gains in adults 18-49 and total viewership.<\/p>\n
It led into the season premiere of “Into The Badlands,” which was down from last year’s “Walking Dead”-boosted episodes but stronger than those that aired without such hefty lead-in support.<\/p>\n
According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Sunday’s “TWD” drew a 4.72 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 10.32 million overall viewers.<\/p>\n
The numbers trail the 4.88 rating and 10.68 million viewer mark drawn by last week’s episode but remain ahead of the 4.71 and 10.16 million viewer mark drawn on March 5.<\/p>\n
“Into The Badlands” premiered its second season with a 1.42 demo rating and 3.44 million viewership average.<\/p>\n
Last year’s series premiere, which followed a higher-rated edition of “The Walking Dead,” drew a much stronger 3.15 adults 18-49 rating and 6.39 million viewership figure.<\/p>\n
The season finale, on the other hand, drew a 0.83 rating and 2.16 million viewership sum.
