The Chainsmokers & Coldplay’s “Something Just Like This” was released to radio Wednesday evening.<\/p>\n
By the end of Wednesday, it had amassed 271 spins at the pop radio format.<\/p>\n
The tally is enough for a #50 position on Mediabase’s building pop chart, which is based on airplay for the first four days<\/i> of the February 19-25 tracking week.<\/p>\n
Since “Something Just Like This” will continue to receive heavy airplay in the coming days, it should have no trouble maintaining its Top 50 standing through the close of tracking. In fact, it will almost certainly rise – perhaps considerably – from its current #50 position.<\/p>\n
With “Something Just Like This” sure to command significant attention in the next few weeks, it will be interesting to see how The Chainsmokers’ other radio single “Paris” holds up.
