There is no guarantee she will be the titular ‘mother,’ but former “House” actress Jennifer Morrison will play a key role in the upcoming sixth season of “How I Met Your Mother.”<\/p>\n
Morrison will appear for at least five episodes–and possibly as many as thirteen–as Zooey, an activist who is trying to prevent a landmark building from being torn down in favor of a project that Ted Mosby, the architect lead character, is designing.<\/p>\n
Creator Craig Thomas told Entertainment Weekly that Zooey is \u201cthe biggest female character we\u2019ve maybe ever added to the show in Ted\u2019s life…This is a big arc\u2014a huge arc. It\u2019s going to be a little less date-of-the-week for Ted, which season 5 was.\u201d<\/p>\n
