#1 and #3 on the US iTunes sales chart as of 1:25AM ET Monday, respectively, Ed Sheeran’s “Shape Of You” and Katy Perry’s “Chained To The Rhythm (featuring Skip Marley)” are the best positioned of the songs performed at the Grammy Awards.<\/p>\n
Both songs, however, were already positioned prominently. “Shape” was #1 going into the show, while “Chained” was #4 prior to Perry and Marley’s performance.<\/p>\n
Other Grammy-related songs have made bigger positional jumps on the chart. One such song is Bruno Mars’ “That’s What I Like.”<\/p>\n
Following his highly regarded performance, “That’s What I Like” is up to #4 on the listing. It was outside the Top 10 prior to Sunday’s show.<\/p>\n
Mars also holds a Top 10 position (#8) with “24K Magic.” \u00a0Even though Mars did not actually perform the song during the show, it is up slightly from its pre-Grammys position.<\/p>\n
Keith Urban’s “The Fighter (featuring Carrie Underwood)” is #6, but it made a far bigger jump than the aforementioned That’s What I Like.” It was actually outside the Top 50 yesterday.<\/p>\n
The Weeknd’s “I Feel It Coming (featuring Daft Punk)” is #7. It was just outside the Top 10 prior to their collaborative Grammys performance.<\/p>\n
Lukas Graham’s “7 Years” made an even bigger jump than “The Fighter.” The song, which was barely in the Top 100 prior to the show, is #10 following the band’s duet\/mash-up with Kelsea Ballerini and her “Peter Pan.” \u00a0Ballerini’s song is currently #54 on the iTunes sales chart.<\/p>\n
Maren Morris performed “Once” with Alicia Keys during Sunday’s show, but the song for which she won a Best Country Performance Grammy has thus far earned a higher ranking on iTunes. Outside the Top 100 yesterday, “My Church” is up to #11. “Once,”\u00a0which was completely off the grid going into the performance, is #36.<\/p>\n
