Airing at 10PM Monday night, the midseason premiere of ABC’s “Quantico” received strong lead-in support from ABC’s hit “The Bachelor.”<\/p>\n
Clearly benefiting from the scheduling shift, “Quantico” posted its best viewership number since very early in the season.<\/p>\n
Unfortunately, the audience figure was still nothing about which to write home.<\/p>\n
According to national data posted by Showbuzz, Monday’s “Quantico” drew a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating and 2.91 million total viewers. The episode was up from the fall finale (0.7, 2.29 million) and actually the most-watched “Quantico” since the October 16 episode.<\/p>\n
The numbers are not, however, impressive by conventional television standards. They are also well below the show’s typical first season levels — ratings that were achieved with far weaker lead-in support in the original Sunday timeslot.<\/p>\n
Monday’s “The Bachelor,” which led into “Quantico,” drew a 2.4 adults 18-49 rating and 7.32 million total viewers. No Sunday “Quantico” ever received as much lead-in support.<\/p>\n
