(Photo by Kevin Winter\/Getty Images)\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p><script type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"http:\/\/view.picapp.com\/\/JavaScripts\/OTIjs.js\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Following Eric Bischoff&#8217;s claim that a Twitter account allegedly belonging to Hulk Hogan featured fake posts&#8211;even though Bischoff, himself, had apparently linked to the account&#8211;came an additional claim from TNA President Dixie Carter that the story was untrue.<\/p>\n<p>Wrote Carter, &#8220;Recent twitter of Hulk Hogan leaving TNA is bogus. To what extreme people will go.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Earlier Wednesday, a series of posts on Hulk Hogan&#8217;s supposed account claimed that he and Bischoff were departing TNA after less than a year with the organization.  The posts were quickly removed, and Bischoff quickly denied that the posts came from Hulk Hogan and added that the story, itself, was false.<\/p>\n<p>Because Bischoff had previously endorsed the Hogan account with a link, there was a question about whether Bischoff was being entirely honest or whether he was simply covering up for an announcement that should not yet have been made public.<\/p>\n<p>An answer came shortly after, with the person behind the account revealing it was a worked announcement meant to make TNA brass look bad.<\/p>\n<p>The account holder admitted he was not Hogan and wrote, &#8220;@EBischoff GOT WORKED BROTHERS! He publishes information before even verifying its accuracy.
