Last week’s two-hour “Nashville” season premiere referenced Ashley Willerman, an Internet phenomenon with whom Avery and Deacon will be recording.<\/p>\n

This week, we’ll meet the character.<\/p>\n

Ashley will be played by guest star Bridgit Mendler.<\/p>\n

Mendler may be best known for starring on “Good Luck Charlie” and “Undateable,” but she has also achieved success as a recording artist.<\/p>\n

Her debut album “Hello My Name Is…” yielded a platinum single in “Ready Or Not” and a gold single in “Hurricane.”<\/p>\n

Her recently released “Nemesis” EP, meanwhile, received strong marks from critics and “tastemakers.”<\/p>\n
