We met Roland (Lenny Kravitz), Alexandra’s father, in the December 14 “STAR” premiere.<\/p>\n

In the January 4 episode, we will meet her mother Rose.<\/p>\n

Guest star Naomi Campbell plays the character<\/p>\n

Upon learning of Alexandra’s whereabouts, Roland and Rose head down to Atlanta. Their visit comes as a disappointing shock to Alexandra, who was hoping to pursue her career outside of her parents’ control — and baggage.<\/p>\n

It also comes as a shock to the other characters (including Derek), who were unaware of Alexandra’s relation to rock royalty. <\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Simone begins to become more involved in the church — while continuing to confront her demons. Star proves she is willing to go rather far to achieve her dream, while Jahil looks to raise money for the girls’ demo.<\/p>\n

We also meet Tyrese’s character, a pastor at the church.<\/p>\n

In advance of the January 4 broadcast, FOX shared some photos from the episode. It airs at 9PM ET\/PT.<\/p>\n
