Though not expected to overtake &#8220;Inception&#8221; this weekend, the film&#8217;s total could still move as high as $35 million when the weekend is said and done, an impressive figure for a movie-star-led action film in the current day.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Despicable Me&#8221; grabbed third place with $7.4 million, topping the $3 million for newcomer &#8220;Ramona &#038; Beezus.&#8221;  The total for the latter is soft and definitely not a favorable testament to Selena Gomez&#8217;s potential for box office impact, although the film never figured to have mass appeal and was produced on a low $15 million, according to Deadline.<\/p>\n<p>With just $2.9 million, &#8220;The Sorcerer&#8217;s Apprentice&#8221;
