ABC has confirmed the first wave of performers for its annual “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” celebration.<\/p>\n

The iconic Mariah Carey will sing as one of the event’s headliners. ABC notes that she will perform from Times Square moments before the ball drops.<\/p>\n

Other Times Square performers include DNCE, Thomas Rhett and Gloria Estefan (with the cast of “On Your Feet!”). Additional Times Square and Billboard Hollywood Party performers will be confirmed in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n

Ryan Seacrest returns as the Times Square host, while Jenny McCarthy will be a correspondent in Times Square. Fergie will be back as host for the Billboard Hollywood Party.<\/p>\n
