The numbers are down from last year (3.8, 13.62 million), but the decline is understandable given the monstrous opposition from game seven of the World Series.<\/p>\n
A half-hour breakdown reveals that the broadcast peaked during the 9-9:30PM portion. That half-hour drew a 3.1 adults 18-49 rating and 13.39 million total viewers.<\/p>\n
The 9-9:30PM window included the latter part of the Garth Brooks-Trisha Yearwood duet, Carrie Underwood’s performance, Eric Church’s win for Album of the Year, and Miranda Lambert’s performance.<\/p>\n
The 9:30-10PM segment was the #2 half-hour in both adults 18-49 and total viewers (3.0, 13.17 million).
