TV Land’s “Hot in Cleveland” set the cable world on fire Wednesday, garnering nearly 5 million viewers for its premiere.<\/p>\n
Undoubtedly riding Betty White’s wave of recent publicity, the original comedy broke TV Land’s viewership records with 4.8 million viewers and a 1.9 rating for the target adults 25-54 demographic. With women 25-54, the rating landed at a 2.4.<\/p>\n
The show was also impressive with slightly-younger adults, averaging a 1.5 rating in the standard 18-49 category.<\/p>\n
