Britney Spears’ “Glory” is poised to endure a significant – yet fully expected – second week drop in album sales.<\/p>\n
According to Hits Daily Double, the album is poised to sell only 10-12,000 pure US copies this week. A figure in that range would mark a decline of about 87% from its opening week figure.<\/p>\n
“Glory” will also endure a huge drop in consumption. Hits has projects it will generate 20-23,000 in combined units from sales, TEA (track sales\/10) and SEA (track streams\/1500), representing a week two decline of roughly 80%.<\/p>\n
Granted, “Glory” is not the only one of last week’s high-profile releases poised to suffer big week two declines. Hits projects Barbra Streisand’s “Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway” will fall by about 82% in consumption (to 26-29K units) and sales (to 25-28K sales).<\/p>\n
