Earlier this weekend, Headline Planet noted that San Francisco’s WiLD 94.9 has started to play the third single from Ariana Grande’s “Dangerous Woman.”<\/p>\n

San Francisco’s other major pop station has since gotten on board. Los Angeles’ influential 102.7 KIIS also provided a couple spins.<\/p>\n

According to Mediabase, Grande’s “Side To Side (featuring Nicki Minaj)” received 8 spins from 99-7 NOW and 2 spins from 102.7 KIIS during the period between August 22 and 28. The aforementioned WiLD 94.9 offered 17 plays within that period.<\/p>\n

The airplay comes as Grande’s “Into You” continues to rise on the pop chart. It is #7 on the building chart for the August 28-September 3 tracking period.<\/p>\n

With “Into You” still active at the format, Republic has not yet announced a pop impact date for “Side To Side.” The same applies at rhythmic radio.<\/p>\n

The label has, however, confirmed that “Side To Side” is going for urban radio adds this week.<\/p>\n

Grande and Minaj performed the song at Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards. A music video subsequently launched on Guess.com to support the new Guess Music venture.<\/p>\n
