In conjunction with Wednesday’s iHeartMedia event in New York, Lady Gaga revealed that her new single “Perfect Illusion” would arrive in September.<\/p>\n

While fans only received that update, those at iHeart headquarters got to hear the song. They also heard Lady Gaga’s comments regarding the new release.<\/p>\n

“The song is about modern ecstasy,” says Gaga of the single, which she developed with Mark Ronson and Kevin Parker. “We found our sweet, simple, ragey way of saying it.”<\/p>\n

Commenting on the “Perfect Illusion,”\u00a0iHeart says the single<\/a>\u00a0“finds a sweet space in Mother Monster\u2019s catalogue alongside some of her best dance floor anthems.” The Media conglomerate adds that Gaga’s eagerly awaited new single “touches the highest of highs and lowest of lows in a relationship gone wrong, thus, the perfect illusion.”<\/p>\n
