Kaleo’s modern rock breakthrough “Way Down We Go” predictably earns the top spot on this week’s Mediabase alternative airplay chart.<\/p>\n

“Way Down We Go” received ~3,044 spins during the August 7-13 tracking period. Up 87 plays from last week’s count, the tally allows Kaleo’s single to rise from #2 to #1.<\/p>\n

“Way Down We Go” seizes the throne from Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “Dark Necessities,” which falls way down to #5 after two weeks on top. It garnered ~2,637 spins during the official tracking period (-338).<\/p>\n
