When it comes to RIAA certifications, June 28, 2016 was a very fruitful day for Muse. Three of the band’s albums were crowned platinum in the United States, and an additional release ascended to gold status.<\/p>\n

The platinum certifications were issued to “Black Holes and Revelations,” “The Resistance” and “Absolution.” Muse’s “The 2nd Law” earned the gold certification.<\/p>\n

Gold and platinum certifications respectively confirm US unit totals of 500,000 and 1 million. One unit is equal to 1 album sale, 10 track sales or 1500 track streams.<\/p>\n

The aforementioned four releases are the only Muse albums with US certifications.
