Fifth Harmony will celebrate the release of its new album “7\/27” with its first-ever #1 on the Mediabase pop airplay chart.<\/p>\n
The group’s “Work From Home (featuring Ty Dolla $ign)” has run away with the weekly pop radio race. Following the first five days of the May 22-28 tracking week, it leads the next-most played song by over 1000 spins.<\/p>\n
“Work From Home” received 12,288 spins during the aforementioned five day period. Up 6.9% from the count at this point last week, the tally slots the lead “7\/27” single at #1 on Mediabase’s building chart.<\/p>\n
Mike Posner’s “I Took A Pill In Ibiza,” which led last week’s official chart, is #2 on building with 11,251 spins (-6.7% vs. same-time-last-week).<\/p>\n
Notable songs on the rise include The Chainsmokers’ “Don’t Let Me Down (featuring Daya)” (11,096 after five days, +13.3%) and Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop The Feeling” (10,198 after five days, +26.0%). While they will not challenge “Work From Home” for #1, they will reach new peaks.<\/p>\n
“DLMD” is currently #3 on building and may be able to get to #2 before the close of tracking. “CSTF” is currently #5 on building and has a good chance of overtaking Lukas Graham’s “7 Years” (currently 10,306, -14.2%) for #4. “DLMD” and “CSTF” were #5 and #7 on last week’s official chart, respectively.<\/p>\n
