Creed confirmed lengthy speculation Monday with the announcement on its website that it is reuniting for a tour and new record.<\/p>\n
A Rolling Stone feature further enlightened the situation, noting that the lead songwriting team of Scott Stapp and Mark Tremonti has already compiled six demos for the new album. Recording for the album, tentatively titled “Full Circle,” will begin shortly in Nashville.<\/p>\n
According to that story, the album’s first single will likely release prior to the tour, which stars in August, while the full disc will ship later in the year.<\/p>\n
