The Drew McIntyre “firing” angle led to some speculation that one of SmackDown’s rising stars had been suspended for some sort of internal issue, but according to F4WOnline.com, that is not the case.<\/p>\n

McIntyre was part of the company’s Mexican tour this week, further suggesting that he was not pulled from the road for disciplinary reasons. His television removal is clearly linked to a planned WWE storyline.<\/p>\n

What WWE is actually planning for McIntyre’s on-air storyline is nonetheless being closely guarded.
