FOX’s freshmen dramas “Lucifer” and “Rosewood” will be back for the 2016-17 television season.<\/p>\n
Each formally received a second season renewal Thursday.<\/p>\n

“Lucifer,” which received lead-in support from “The X Files” for its first few episodes and now leads out of “Gotham,” has posted respectable live+same-day numbers. It has also proven popular across platforms: FOX says the show’s episodes reach an average of 10.5 million total, multi-platform viewers.<\/p>\n
