While the excessive hype behind Tuesday’s “Power of Madonna” episode likely bolstered the rating by a few tenths, there is no way the episode would have posted this kind of rating in its freshman fall, indicating that there has been a legitimate surge of interest this spring.<\/p>\n
Because “Idol” ran a few minutes into the “Glee” hour, the final number for “Glee” will likely dip by a tenth or two, but it will still close out with an impressive number.<\/p>\n
Average viewership for the episode was 13.5 million.<\/p>\n
