National data, first reported by Showbuzz, confirms “Grey’s Anatomy” actually drew a 2.1 with 7.8 million total viewers (the fast nationals said 7.9 million). Last week’s episode drew the same 2.1 but only 7.5 million total audience members.<\/p>\n
“Scandal” followed with a 1.6 and 6.3 million (rather than the initially reported 1.6 and 6.5 million). It trailed last week’s 1.7 demo rating but bested its 6.0 million viewership mark.<\/p>\n
The “HTGAWM” season finale posted a 1.4 and 5.3 million in the finals, whereas the fast nationals said 1.4 with 5.5 million. It was even with last week’s adults 18-49 number and up from its 4.8 million viewership mark.

It did, however, post a gain in total viewership.<\/p>\n
Fast national data shared by ABC and Showbuzz reveals Thursday’s second season finale drew a 1.4 adults 18-49 rating and 5.5 million total viewers. Last week’s episode posted the same 1.4 rating but reached only 4.8 million.<\/p>\n
While enough for a broadcast network victory in the timeslot, the 1.4 rating is modest compared to the show’s first season standard. The DVR force has, however, posted considerable live+3 and live+7 gains throughout the season.<\/p>\n
As far as L+SD performance goes, Thursday’s “Grey’s” behaved similarly to “HTGAWM.” It held steady in adults 18-49 (2.1) but gained in total audience (7.9m this week vs. 7.5m last week).<\/p>\n
Airing in between the two series, this week’s “Scandal” posted a 1.6 and 6.5 million.
