Update:<\/b> The 1975’s “I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it” is indeed on track to claim #1 on the US Top Album Sales chart.<\/p>\n

Per the latest Hits Daily Double projections, “I like it when you sleep” should sell 95-105,000 US copies this week. That will give the album a comfortable edge over Adele’s “25” and a clear edge over Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ new “This Unruly Mess I’ve Made,” which is now tracking for 40-50,000 weekly copies.<\/p>\n

The 1975’s album is also on track to top the Billboard 200, which ranks albums based on pure sales + track sales\/10 + track streams\/1500.

What some analysts figured would be a tight battle between the week’s two major album releases is turning into a blowout.<\/p>\n

The 1975’s “I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It” is expected to easily outperform Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ “This Unruly Mess I’ve Made” in the weekly US album sales race.<\/p>\n

Insofar as it is also pacing ahead of Adele’s “25,” it is in position to claim #1 on next week’s Top Album Sales chart.<\/p>\n

Per Hits Daily Double, The 1975’s album is on track to sell 90-100,000 pure US copies, while the Macklemore & Ryan Lewis release is set to move 45-55,000.<\/p>\n

A specific projection for Adele’s “25” was not available at press time, but it is expected to land in between the two albums.<\/p>\n
