Two overseas hits are on track to reach the Top 30 on this Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.<\/p>\n
Spun 1,273 times during the first four days of the February 14-20 tracking week (+89.7%), Zara Larsson & MNEK’s surging “Never Forget You” is #28 on Mediabase’s building chart. Given its rate of acceleration and the limited number of threats from below, “Never Forget You” should have no trouble staying in the Top 30 through the close of tracking.<\/p>\n
Lukas Graham’s “7 Years” is also poised to go Top 30 at pop. The song, which received 1,272 spins during the tracking week’s first four days (+28.4%), is #29 on building.<\/p>\n
Both songs, moreover, will receive an additional boost on the final version of this week’s chart.<\/p>\n
Selena Gomez’ “Same Old Love” is due to be removed as a recurrent this week. Thanks to its removal, songs positioned below “Same Old Love” on the building chart (it is currently #11 on building and unlikely to go below #14) will each rise by one place on the official chart.<\/p>\n
To reach the Top 30 on the official chart, a song therefore need only be #31 on the building listing.<\/p>\n
That means Shawn Hook’s building #30 “Sound Of Your Heart” and Alessia Cara’s building #32 (but due to overtake David Guetta’s fading #31 “Bang My Head,” if not the Hook single as well) “Wild Things” should also reach the Top 30 this week.<\/p>\n
