For the first time since January 17, FOX aired original editions of its Sunday night comedies.<\/p>\n
Airing on Valentine’s Day and, in the case of the 9PM comedies, against massive competition from the midseason “Walking Dead” season premiere, four of the five suffered notable losses.<\/p>\n
Per Nielsen fast national data, 7:30PM utility player “Bob’s Burgers” drew a 1.0 adults 18-49 rating and 2.032 million total viewers. It matched the previous episode’s adults 18-49 rating (1.0) but was down in total viewership (2.032 million).<\/p>\n
Even in one column was the best outcome achieved by a FOX comedy Sunday night. The other four shows were down substantially in both.<\/p>\n
8PM veteran “The Simpsons” drew a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating and 2.901 million viewers, numbers which trail the 1.8 rating and 3.949 million viewer mark drawn on January 17.<\/p>\n
Recently launched comedy “Cooper Barrett’s Guide To Surviving Life” fell into dangerous ratings territory at 8:30PM. The show, which posted a 1.2 and 2.558 million viewers on January 17, was down to a mere 0.7 and 1.748 million.<\/p>\n
9PM staple “Family Guy” slipped from 1.7\/3.411m to 1.2\/2.509m, while freshman comedy “Bordertown” closed the night with a 0.7 rating and 1.678 million viewership mark.
