Early Monday morning, iHeart officially confirmed the radio industry’s worst-kept secret. The Danish act’s international smash is receiving the coveted “On The Verge Boost.”<\/p>\n

In addition to branding support, “On The Verge” provides “7 Years” with guaranteed airplay from iHeartMedia’s hot adult contemporary stations.<\/p>\n

That airplay support has already commenced; “7 Years,” which has ranked among the format’s most added songs over the past few weeks, is in the Top 20 on the Mediabase Hot AC airplay chart.<\/p>\n

Previous “On The Verge” songs for the Hot AC format include Jamie Lawson’s “Wasn’t Expecting That,” Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness’ “Cecilia And The Satellite,” and Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song.”<\/p>\n

— Also charting at the Triple A, alternative, and pop radio formats (without direct help from “On The Verge”), “7 Years” has been converting its airplay to sales in a major way.
