She ultimately came in a strong fourth place, but it only came after a number of bottom three visits and a solid Top 4 performance night that few anticipated would leave her in the dust.  Nonetheless, Iraheta&#8217;s voice will be featured on a major label debut.<\/p>\n<p>19 Entertainment announced today that Iraheta has signed with 19 Recordings, with licensing for her debut album going to Jive Records.  As with fellow &#8220;Idol&#8221; alumni Kris Allen and Adam Lambert, Iraheta&#8217;s disc is due in stores this fall.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/view.picapp.com\/default.aspx?term=\\allison iraheta&#038;iid=4856152\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/cdn.picapp.com\/ftp\/Images\/2\/f\/9\/6\/Fourth_placed_Allison_5916.JPG?adImageId=1548133&#038;imageId=4856152\" width=\"320\" height=\"480\"  border=\"0\" alt=\"Fourth placed Allison Iraheta at the Mondrian hotel for the American Idol season finale afterparty\"\/><\/a><script type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"http:\/\/cdn.pis.picapp.com\/IamProd\/PicAppPIS\/JavaScript\/PisV4.js\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>&#8212; Entertainment news Wednesday was not, however, good for all industry players.  Ratings information revealed that the &#8220;Late Show with David Letterman&#8221; officially topped &#8220;The Tonight Show with Conan O&#8217;Brien,&#8221; giving Letterman&#8217;s program its first late-night victory in eight months.  Letterman&#8217;s show scored a 3.4 rating, topping the 2.9 for the still-declining &#8220;Tonight Show.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Sources are nonetheless not quick to officially rule that the tables have been turned, noting that NBC&#8217;s hockey coverage provided &#8220;Tonight&#8221; with a lower-than-usual rating on the west coast.
