Monday’s “The X-Files,” which was the fourth episode of the current run and third in the Monday timeslot, suffered slight week-to-week declines in adults 18-49 and total viewership.<\/p>\n
Lead-out “Lucifer” was also down.<\/p>\n
Per Nielsen fast national data, “The X-Files” posted a 2.5 adults 18-49 rating and reached 8.252 million total viewers. The numbers trail the 2.7 rating and 8.367 million viewer mark posted by last week’s episode.<\/p>\n
Despite the decline, “The X-Files” was still its timeslot’s #1 program in adults 18-49 (it narrowly edged ABC’s “The Bachelor,” which drew a 2.4 in the 8PM). It tied hour two of “The Bachelor” as the night’s overall #1 network broadcast.<\/p>\n
It did, however, cede its viewership crown. In terms of total viewership, “X-Files” trailed CBS’ “Scorpion” (11.221m), CBS’ “NCIS: LA” (9.681m) and both hours of “The Bachelor” (8.541m\/8.539m).<\/p>\n
— The aforementioned “Lucifer” drew a 1.7 adults 18-49 rating and 5.468 million total viewers. It was #3 in its timeslot for both adults 18-49 and total viewers (behind hour two of “The Bachelor” and “Scorpion”).<\/p>\n
