A Rihanna-Drake collaboration launched amid massive buzz and given instant support from iHeartMedia and other radio networks, “Work” amassed a whopping 147 Mediabase-monitored pop adds this week. The adds count is one of the best ever reported by the Mediabase pop panel.<\/p>\n
Because it was so substantial, a song that received impressive impact week support of its own must settle for #2 on the add board. ZAYN’s “PILLOWTALK,” that song, earned pickups from 88 stations.<\/p>\n
“Wild Things,” the follow-up to Alessia Cara’s chart-topping “Here,” grabs third-most added with 36 impact week adds. G-Eazy x Bebe Rexha’s “Me, Myself & I” follows with 35 adds, while Robin Schulz’ “Sugar (featuring Francesco Yates)” earns fifth place on the strength of its 34 weekly pickups.<\/p>\n
This week’s other notable pop options: DJ Snake’s “Middle (featuring Bipolar Sunshine)” (29 adds, 6th), Mike Posner’s “I Took A Pill In Ibiza” (28 adds, 7th), One Direction’s “History” (27 adds, 8th), Empire Of The Sun’s “Walking On A Dream” (18 adds, 9th), Rachel Platten’s “Stand By You” (16 adds, 10th).<\/p>\n
